Day 15 (Day 14 died)

Day 15
February 1, 2015

Miles: 2100 I think…..

So I realized this morning, I didn't write yesterday.  I'm gonna be SUPER honest, I slept the majority of yesterday.  Between all three humans having been to a doctor at least once, me driving EVERYWHERE, ALL THE TIME, I was just pooped.  So we all kinda took a day to be home and quiet.

I wasn't sure I would be able to post tonight, but apparently, if your internet is having an attitude, just trade fishy face snap chats with some of your favorite people and BOOM your internet will pop up and be ready to go (thanks Marine!).

Yesterday was sleep, canasta, sleep, alcohol, and more sleep.

Today was not as easy going at all….

So we had a little "mishap" with the furry ones this morning.  Well I should say my furry butts "got lost in the fog" while the 'rentals took them for a run and I took a well deserved (and MUCH needed) shower.  I miss hot showers…  So yes, I was getting dressed for Jo's super bowl/birthday dinner when I had to go look for my furry butts.  Brand new boots got broken in this morning, traipsing through the desert looking for dumb and dumber…  I walked the desert for almost two hours looking for them.  When I found them they were soaked and happier than pigs in mud.  Ridiculous!  I was scared and really, really upset through the whole ordeal.  Good thing it isn't summer or I could have lost them for good.  Ugh! It makes me nauseated to even think about that…

So yeah that little escapade put some major dissension among the crew.  It's safe to say that it came to verbal blows and that squall still hasn't passed.  I'm not going to apologize for expressing my feelings.  That's all there is to it.  And I will not continue to cater to nonsense, it's ridiculous and juvenile.

Moving on… We went to Jo's because today is his 80th and he cooked chicken for us… Man… That was so damn good chicken.  Hurt like hell to eat, but I ate every bite he gave me, smiled, and said "thank you".  I baked him a couple of cakes as well.  His late wife used to make this killer dessert she called blueberry delight, which he LOVES but I couldn't figure out the recipe so I just made blueberry sugar free cakes for him.  He seemed to enjoy them.

Super bowl pretty much sucked.  It was a great game until that last play, WHAT THE HELL CARROL?!?!? Sheesh!!  I'm glad my Pats won, but damn my Seahawks got ROBBED!!  I still stand with my 12th Man though. (HALFTIME KICKED ASS THOUGH!!!)

So now, I'm gonna go drink a bit… pass out with this new "Fall Asleep in One Minute" trick… and hopefully not kill any one/thing tomorrow.  Busy week ahead then it's CAL-I-FORN-IA!!!! WHOOP!!!

CAN'T FREAKING WAIT!!!!

I miss you like the desert misses the rain (just not this week).

I love you because you're stuck in my heart.

Goodnight.

Xx

P.S. For those that are concerned, knee still kills, but I think it's getting better (or I'm getting more tolerant).  Mouth is still too much some times, but I'm debating about crossing the international line and getting that taken care of for good, ya know?  Who knows??
